Welcome to the Leeds University Union Christian Union! ******************************************************************* LUUCU is all about Jesus! We want to be Living for Jesus and Speaking for Jesus! We are a mix of many different denominations who unite around the message of the Gospel. Because the news of Jesus Christ is so AMAZING, we want to share it! We want to bring the truth of God’s amazing grace to every student at Leeds University. We aim to do this in a way that is meaningful, relevant and clear. As a Christian Union we meet to pray, worship, study God’s word together and encourage one another in our faith. We welcome anyone so please feel free to send us an email or come to our regular meetings and events. We look forward to meeting you...

Additional Information.

You can get involved in plenty of things throughout the week:-

Ignite is a weekly opportunity to meet together as a CU, to be stirred for Jesus and building his kingdom, worshipping him together, encouraging one another, receiving teaching from the Bible, and having fellowship with one another. It is also a great chance to get to see what CU is all about, as we receive regular updates from different ministries on campus and spend time praying for one another. We’re really excited about getting plugged into our university this year and sharing Jesus, so come and join us, we’ll be excited to see you!

Monday 26th September // 7pm - 8pm // Baines Wing *******************************************************************************

In the wise words of MC Hammer, 'We've got to pray, just to make it today'. Massive tune. And as a CU, we recognise that our efforts are worthless without God's grace, help, and guidance! Which is why we gather together, to pray for our campus.

 Tuesday // 5pm - 6pm // Chaplaincy

Cell groups exist to help 1st year students live and speak for Jesus in their halls.

We do this by encouraging each other, meeting regularly to study the bible and praying together. We also organise outreach events.

Get involved, make life-long friendships with nearby Christians.

Wednesday // 7pm - 9pm //  Halls of Residence

Have conversations with people around campus, and if they want to, share with you their opinions and beliefs and you can tell them about God and Jesus.

Excellent way to step out in faith, to not only let people on campus know the brilliant news, but also to strengthen your own relationship with God.

Wouldn't it be great if we had so many people involved we could have this everyday!! This is why the CU is here after all!

Friday // 12pm // Outside Union

We strongly encourage everyone to regularly attend church!

Church is the place to get great biblical teaching, fellowship, and give praise to God, so that we can remain steadfast and perseveringly in our christian faith.
