Mosaic Church

Description.

Mosaic Church is an evangelical charismatic church of around 350 people, based in several locations across Leeds in West Yorkshire.

We are part of the Newfrontiers family of churches, and have a strong emphasis on worship, Bible teaching, community, evangelism, mission and family life.

We currently meet on Sundays in 3 locations across the city:
- in the south of the city (Cockburn High School) at 10am
- in the north (St Chad's Church) at 11.30am
- in Headingley (Cottage Road Cinema) at 5.45pm

We would love you to come and visit us at one of our services!

Additional Information.

Mosaic is passionate about involving students in everything we do. We offer lots of different training opportunities for students wanting to get more involved in leadership, discipleship, mentoring, worship and serving in the church. The best way to get involved in Mosaic however is to join a Mission Group.

Alex's story:

Coming to university was a daunting experience. I was moving away from home to a city where I didn't know anybody. I knew that when I came to Leeds I wanted to continue going to church and so when I arrived, I visited Mosaic for the first time with my parents as it was the closest church to my halls. We enjoyed the service, and afterwards received a great welcome from the people we met. I decided to make Mosaic my home church and to join a Mission Group. The welcome team were really helpful in chatting through what Mission Groups are and how they work, and introducing me to different leaders. Getting involved was easy too. I went along to Launchpad, which was a great way to learn about the way the church works and where I could serve. I've really enjoyed serving the church on the visuals team and it’s enabled me to meet lots of different people.

Mosaic has helped me feel really settled in Leeds for the last two years and has been a great place to bring non-Christian friends along to. They have seen that church is not just a place to sing hymns, listen to a sermon, and then leave. They've seen that we're a community, living life together

Upcoming Events

'Host Families'
18.09.14

We are offering all new students the chance to have their own 'host family' while you are studying in Leeds. This will either be a couple, family or household that would like to give you some yummy meals, a comfy sofa and some love and care as you move away from home!

If you would like to get yourself one of these then just sign up at the Student Summit or at a Sunday service.

Mission Groups
18.09.14

The best way to get involved in life at Mosaic church is to join a mission group.

These are groups of people who meet during the week to encourage each other in our walk with God and support each other in the mission God has called us to. We have some groups with just students and other mixed groups.

Find details of our different mission groups when you come to visit us.
