Description.
We are a community of Christians drawn from many different backgrounds who meet in and around the City of Leeds to worship God, to enjoy a relationship with each other as members of God’s family and to serve him in the city and beyond. Whether you want to find out more about Jesus Christ, want to find a church in which you can settle, or are looking for support in your own personal and spiritual growth we will do our best to help you. South Parade is part of the vibrant network of Christian Churches across the City, with strong international links and a long history of church planting and community involvement. Baptist in ethos and contemporary in style, we welcome people from all walks of life, including people with a wide range of church experience and those with little or none. Please get in touch – we’ll be glad to meet you.

10am – 12.30pm: A walk through the Bible: two sessions on understanding how the Bible is shaped and fits together as part of the Biblefresh initiative.
Bring your own lunch.
1pm onwards, Mission activities across Leeds, including prayer walking, street and shop witness and prayer, gardening and decorating (come dressed appropriately). If you are intending to garden or decorate please let Heather know in advance if possible .

Whole Church Weekend Away, Swanwick Hayes, Derbyshire, July 1st to 3rd 2011.
Guest speaker, Rev David Shosanya, Regional Minister for Mission with the London Baptist Association. David is an experienced missionary pastor and a powerful preacher and teacher who will lead us well. - get the date in your diaries and plan to come as individuals, families, Small Groups and whole Mission Communities.
